The BMW X5 is one of the most accomplished SUV’s available – sports utility vehicle absolutely is the BMW X5. More akin to the road than the dirt the X5 is spacious and very capable as a family or business tool.
These must represent the best value for money SUV now – handsome looks and macho stance combined with more than sufficient power. The X5 feels robust and every bit the £50k car it is.
This example was bought from a very enthusiastic owner, the mileage is about average for the age but the condition is exceptional. 4 totally unmarked 20” wheels with new Bridgestone tyres. Sold with warranty and full BMW main dealer service history. Is there a better X5 available at this money?
This is the SE specification but includes some excellent factory options; 20” alloy wheels, panoramic roof, business nav, Bluetooth, side steps, cruise control, automatic gearbox with a sublime straight 6 engine.
Why the X5? Value for money! Simple.
The Bentley Continental GT wowed us in 2003 at launch thanks to its gorgeous curves and macho specification. This latest iteration comprising a 4.0 litre V8 Twin Turbo engine is a masterpiece and demonstration of the capabilities of Bentley.
Producing 521 BHP and 502 ft-Ibs of torque (at 1700 rpm) the V8S was an instant hit and boasted a near 200 MPH top speed! The Continental GT is a glorious place to be – effortless in consuming tarmac and commanding presence.
This 2016 car belonged to a good friend of JRL and has covered just 4,900 dry miles. Always garaged, regularly valeted and comprising a comprehensive history this car has been cherished. A knock-out colour this is a highly desirable specification GT.
This is the Mulliner specification and includes over £16k in additional options; 21” sports wheels, special paint, Beluga gloss mirrors, splitter and diffuser, dark tint front and rear lights, deep pile carpets, sports 3 spoke uprated steering wheel, drilled alloy pedals, knurled chrome gear lever, diamond quilted leather in two tone and Bentley emblems on the seats which are massage and ventilated, rear camera and sports exhaust. All this on top of the already high specification you would expect from a Bentley.
Why the Continental GT? Want presence? This has it in abundance.
Another brilliant BMW into stock – this 320d looks stunning in Estoril Blue and has a great specification thanks to its M Sport specification. The 320d really looks the part and combines coupe pleasure with day to day practicality.

Factory M Sport pack includes; front arm rest, business Bluetooth, Bluetooth audio, Harmen Kardon, AUX audio interface, front seat heating, Xenon headlights, M sport blue brake calipers and comfort lights.
Why the 320d M Sport? Is there a better option for 5 seats, economy and style? Don’t think so…
Range Rover is a brand needing no introduction. In Firenze Red this Autobiography spec is either on everyone’s wish list or in their possession. This Range Rover’s previous owner was an enthusiast and has cared passionately to present the car.
The modern SUV whilst capable off road is mostly now deployed to all situations – as happy on the school run as the motorways and business world the Sport provides luxury and capability with superb road presence.

The Cayenne is Porsches answer to the popular SUV. This one owner car from new is highly specified and is the 4.2 V8 diesel S model.
With several settings the Cayenne S feels every bit the older brother to the rest of the Porsche range feeling nimble and agile when configured but offering huge cabin room. The driver is expertly cossetted with real thought going into the ergonomics.
With Porsche warranty to 2019 and desirable Jet black metallic paint this is a hugely desirable car. Fitted with the following factory options; sports tail pipe covers, suspension dampers 2, speed sensitive power steering, large roof system, embossed front head rests, heated front seats, wider wheel arch option, bose premium sound, unmarked 21” sport edition wheels, connect package plus, comfort memory seats (14 way), blackline package, sports chrono package, DAB radio, 4 good Michelin tyres.
Why the Cayenne S? Gorgeous noise and delightful interior…..oh did I mention 380 BHP?
Front wheel drive hot hatches were for a long time stuck around 200 BHP – pioneered at the time by Renault and the sport Clio’s. Vauxhall and latterly Ford began pushing what was possible and what was developed was sophisticated suspension and differentials allowing additional power to be deployed without the cars being un drivable. There is no doubt driving the VXR there is huge potential to excite yourself…..you feel like a touring car driver! I just love the seats in this car and the VXR button to spice things up. The steering is well weighted and it cruises very comfortably…..at 275 BHP this is a very capable hatch back.
This signature Arden blue VXR has covered just 22,900 miles and just had a refreshed gearbox fitted. Clearly cared for the first owner fitted the mud guards to prevent a common problem on the VXR – stone chips around the wheel arches. The VXR comes highly configured with: Recaro seats, 20” wheels, full leather interior, cruise control, rear park sensors, Bluetooth, AC.
Why the VXR? You don’t see many which appeals and the barky engine just loves to entertain its passengers.
I bought this car from a friend and it is very impressive – More upright and rugged the Allroad is prepared for the rough but sublime on the daily commute. The range topping 3.0 TDV6 provides ample performance and is applied through Audis legendary Quattro and 7 speed gearbox.
With a raised platform and extended arches the Allroad is just that….
This excellent example presents very well having been owned from new by one lady keeper. Configured including; Panoramic sunroof, Bang + Olufsen, heated seats, full leather, sat nav, Bluetooth phone, AC.
Why the Allroad? Today’s sat navs can be very creative – tackle any detour with this capable Quattro estate car.
Another brilliant Audi – this RS4 is highly configured and looks glorious in Suzuka Grey.
The RS4 is a real Jekyll and Hyde car – sedate and comfortable doing everything you could wish for in comfort but select Dynamic and hold on!
Just serviced this car is ready to go with excellent condition diamond cut wheels and very good Pirelli tyres.
Presented in Suzuka Grey which is a brilliant pearlescent white with full black leather. Configured with the following factory options; sports pack (which includes – sports exhaust, dynamic ride control, dynamic steering control), 20” wheels, black pack, rear privacy glass, Bang and Olufson sound, lane departure and collision avoidance, keyless go, memoery seats and reverse camera. This in addition to the usual high spec level on the RS4 – nav, bluetooth
Why the RS4 Avant? Did I mention the normally aspirated V8 engine and 8500 rpm? Go to dynamic mode and enjoy the down shifts……
